I understand that if I accept employment it will be employment-at-will, which means that I have the right to terminate my employment at any time with or without cause or notice, and that Hot Head Burritos reserves this same right. I authorize Hot Head Burritos and its authorized agents to investigate all statements in this application, including my present and past work history, academic credentials and transcripts and other records, and references. I authorize Hot Head Burritos and its agents to obtain from such sources information concerning my character, habits and ability, or the cause of my leaving academic institutions or employment. I also authorize Hot Head Burritos to conduct a public records search regarding my background, including a criminal history records verification, social security number verification, employment-related credit history profile, and/or motor vehicle operator license verification, at any time as deemed necessary by Hot Head Burritos. I also authorize Hot Head Burritos to make an inquiry to a consumer-reporting agency (“CRA”) concerning my present and/or past work history. CRAs are established for the purpose of receiving, storing, and disseminating information regarding employment dishonesty, retail theft and related incidents, other acts of dishonesty, violence or drug-related offenses reported to them.
I understand I have the right to inquire as to whether any or all of the foregoing information is required for the position for which I am applying. I understand that under the Fair Credit Reporting Act I may make a timely request of a description of any credit report.
